Yin Yoga Program
Description
This self paced yin course uses Tension as its inspiration. By learning to hold mental/emotional tension in long held postures, we take a step towards transformation.
Topic of Study
This course contains the following:
13 yin practices
Understanding the physical mechanics of postures and how to make modifications
Deep dive into fascia, fascial health and its relationship to yin
How to sequence and theme yin classes
Skeletal variation and how to adapt to different bodies
An introduction to Tom Myers’ Anatomy Trains
Introduction to the Nervous System and how yin impacts mental wellness
Philosophy and the tiny history of yin
Discussions on “tension” in the physical and emotional body
Please note, this course counts for 40 hours for CPD or for those who are completing a 300hr YTT with me.
